The ‘Just Be Kind Events Team’ hosted a truly magical
Spring Fairy Fete fundraiser for-and-at the Retreat Animal Rescue in High Halden, Kent in May 2023.
The event was free to the public and featured a theatrical blend of Shakespeare’s ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’, Labyrinth, Woodland Creatures, Fairies, Elves, Trolls, and more.
Visitors and participants were invited to dress up as their favourite magical characters. Delicious food and drink were available from the Retreat Cafe. Stalls sold gorgeous jewelry, candles, soaps, and many other delightful trinkets.
Fairy oracle readings and Fairy hair were available in the ‘Fey Bell Tent’. Live entertainment was provided by various entertainers, including singers, thespians, Yoga Beats & Ancient Magick, story-telling with Gaia, children’s activities, and other wonderful performers.
*All proceeds went directly to the Retreat.
Radio Illumini, in collaboration with Wildflower Favours, Adrian Doughty & B.Social, hosted a truly magical festive fundraising ‘Just Be Kind Winter Market Festival’ for-and-at the Retreat Animal Rescue in High Halden, Kent. The event was free to the public and featured a magical, theatrical blend of ancient pagan winter solstice Yule and Christian celebrations. Along with fresh roasted chestnuts, there were festive stalls selling wonderful bespoke gifts and decorations. Mulled wine, mince pies, sausage rolls, hot chocolate, and many other popular delectable delights were available at the onsite Café. Many participants and visitors dressed up as their favorite festive fictional characters. Entertainment was provided by Gaia telling stories, Krampus being his charming self giving out bells, and other wonderful performers. *All proceeds went directly to the Retreat.
A BIG Thank You to all who came to and participated at Radio Illumini's debut 'Just Be Kind' festival for and at The Retreat Rescue Centre, in High Halden, Kent in September 2022.
It was a wonderful success; with a substantial amount of money raised for the Retreat.
