Radio Illumini, a radiant beacon of music and stories, thrives as a 'not-for-profit' organisation lovingly tended by passionate volunteers who deliver an eclectic mix of content that spans from universally appealing music selections to immersive reality podcasts, insightful current affairs, and captivating interviews.
Radio Illumini warmly welcomes contributions, inviting individuals to broadcast their narratives, melodies, expertise, and enthusiasms to our continuously expanding listenership.
The emblem of Radio Illumini, crafted by the talented Alex Stillwell, features the iconic triad of rabbits—a motif with ancient roots that has traversed through Middle Eastern and Far Eastern cultures, eventually reaching European and English shores via the Silk Road.
This emblem is a testament to its widespread appeal, having been embraced by diverse religious traditions including Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, with its earliest known appearance in China.
The rabbit, a harbinger of good fortune, symbolizes serenity and peace. It is emblematic of a sacred trinity encompassing fertility, the lunar cycle, and the natural goddess’s cycle of life, death, and rebirth, which also corresponds to the holistic unity of mind, body, and soul.
Moreover, the logo resonates with the familiar adages of “following the white rabbit” and delving into “rabbit holes,” mirroring Radio Illumini’s spirit and the essence of its content.
As a unifying symbol, it bridges civilizations and faiths, offering a beacon of hope to mend the divides of our times.
Allan Jackson has been a stalwart in the musical arena, his journey seemingly transcending the very fabric of space-time, with some suggesting his tenure predates it.
Engaged in an eternal tussle with his musical persona, Dr. Jaxon, for the pinnacle of artistic dominance, Allan has lent his talents to an array of ensembles, theatrical productions, radio shows, podcasts, and solo ventures.
Beyond his quest to conquer the musical landscape and elevate fellow artists, Allan dedicates himself to the cause of Animal Rights. Through dialogue, educational initiatives, and artistic endeavours, as well as hands-on activism, he champions the defence of the voiceless.
Radio Illumini serves as the conduit for Allan’s dual devotions. Here, he curates a Sunday morning segment at 10 am titled “Singed,” spotlighting undiscovered musicians and poets. On Mondays at 2 pm, “Vegan Island Radio” airs, advocating for animal welfare.
And every Wednesday at
8 pm, “Dr. Jaxon’s Elixir Of Life” offers a two-hour medley of eclectic tunes to stir the senses and elevate spirits.

Paul Hazell
"My journey with country music has been a rich tapestry of experiences, from curating shows for the BBC and other networks to penning liner notes for CD compilations and contributing to music magazines.
I often encounter misconceptions that country music is solely an American domain, lacks variety, or sounds monotonous. Contrary to these beliefs, country music boasts an incredible diversity that spans a multitude of styles and expressions.
The dream of hosting my own country music show finally materialized in 2010, thanks to an offer from a beloved local radio station. This marked the debut of ‘Paul Hazell’s World of Country,’ a show where I could freely share the music I love.
Join me every Sunday from 3-6pm, with a repeat broadcast on Tuesdays from 8-11am.
